Council

In Nyimba if you do not use or start building on the plot you buy within the boma (boma means government owned land not chief owned) within 6 months then the government council here will take it back. Our plot for our church has bricks on it, but no one has used the plot in the couple of years they have owned it. The council has recently been starting to enforce the policy of taking unused plots and reselling them to people who are serious about development. They probably would not take church land however we can't be too careful and the association of churches here really needs to use what God has provided for them. I have committed some of my mornings now to helping clean the plot and prepare it for the association to start using it so they will not lose it. Pray that we will be able to put the plot of land into good use. It is in a great area with houses being built all around it pray that the association will not only use it for meetings but that a church would be planted there. Pray for saftey from snakes as we clean the plot because they are always around.
