Chilimbikitso

Our young churches and preaching points need a lot of chilimbikitso (encouragement) right now. We have many places where the leadership has either moved, failed or there are attacks on our churches. We are struggling to keep up right now with the lack of leadership and pray that disciples will start discipling. Njalazi is a good church however they are experiencing persecution outside the church. There is a man who wanted to be a leader of Njalazi however the church didn't want him to lead so he is telling everyone to stop going to our church and to start another church with him as pastor. Please PRAY that Njalazi will grow through this experience and this will move them even closer to God. Golgatha is another church that is experiencing trouble right now because of failed leadership. The pastor left because of character issues and it has left a void in the church. PRAY that God will raise up a new leader who will follow Him with his whole heart and feed the flock at Golgotha. On the other side of things we have praises that our preaching points (Mayaba and Chitepo) are growing in number and the attendants are more consistant in their attendance. We pray that the people who are coming to our preaching points will keep growing in Christ and follow Him in baptism. In closing Rev. 3: 2-3(NASB) says, "Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds  to be completed in the sight of my God. So remeber what you have recieved and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you."   I pray that our association of churches here will not take things lightly but start serving the Lord with a passion for we do not know the day of His coming.
