Chitepo

Chitepo means leaf. This village is one of my favorite villages to teach at because they have a good choir that sings before we study. Before I came to Nyimba there was a church in Chitepo, but when the leader fell sick the church fell apart. Right now we have about 10 people and have had up to 19 before, but about 10 come faithfully to the teachings that are being offered. Pray that we can find another leader for these people because this village really needs the gospel. There have been numerous times when I enter the village the people have been playing their drums for the spiritist dancers called the "nyao". Please Pray that the people who are dancing "nyao" will turn to Christ. Please Pray as these faithful meet in Chitepo that they will grow in Christ. Please Pray that they will believe deeply and defeat any cultural barriers to the gospel. Pray for genuine and radical conversions.
