Knock...Knock...Amai Kendall?

Joy, Amai, Amai Zimbiri (next to Joy)
As I was walking outside this morning, I heard a gentle knock at the gate. Kendall went to answer the gate and to my surprise, the gate was for me! Kendall told me that the gate was for me. I was so happy! I went to see who was there and to my heart's delight and happiness it was Amai Zimbiri. If you have read my blog, you have heard of Amai Zimbiri, she lost her grandaughter in November and has been struggling to even eat 3 times a day. She is a precious friend of mine and anyone who meets her falls in love with her smile and sweet spirit, she truly is a daughter of the King.

She came with her friend who had been in the hospital due to illness. We had such a sweet visit and they brought us gifts of pumpkins and bananas, I was overwhelmed! Although the visit was short, I was so happy that someone came to see me!

We live about 1.5 miles outside of the boma (town) area where most people live, so this visit was intentional, not just made in passing.
