The Kacholola Association has had churches since about 1985. There have been about three missionaries already who have worked in this area to plant churches. It is a beautiful area among the mountains and the association of churches even stretches up to the Luangwa river which cuts through the mountain passes (above). This river divides our area and our team leader's area of work. The chief who resides over this area is named Nyalugwe and has stirred up conflicts with past missionaries who have worked this area. Please pray that upon meeting the chief there will be no hinderances to the gospel in that area. I will be teaching a Bible study every two weeks in this area among the leaders of the churches so please pray that faithful men will be raised up to continue the work in this area. Also as I was exploring the churches of this association Zakeyo the man assisting me led me to a man named Fodson Daka and his back, head and veins hurt so much that he struggled to sit up while we were there. Please pray that he will be healed and God be glorified for his healing.
This is the church that will host where I will be teaching every two weeks Kaliuta. The village this church is in has a funny name Kangachepe----young ones.

HI JOY AND FAMILY!! I FOUND YOUR BLOG WHILE DOING A SEARCH ON SHEEMA....MY HUSBAND AND I ARE GOING TO LUSAKA IN JULY WITH BREATH OF HEAVEN MINISTRIES. I AM VERY ENCOURAGED BY YOUR BLOG IN THAT YOUA RE THERE WITH YOU 3 CHILDREN. WE ALSO HAVE 3 AND HAVE THINKING THAT THE LORD MAY CALL US TO LIVE THERE AS WELL.
