Running for the Moon

To my utter excitement, I have been invited to RUN FOR THE MOON!!!

What?! Run for the Moon?

Towaliga Baptist Church has recently joined with us to intercede for the Nsenga people on a regular basis and when I found out what they were doing as a church to raise money for Lottie Moon, my heart was filled with great joy and happiness.

Here's the story:

Marsha, Amy, Tammy, and Laura are running partners. They all attend Towaliga together. Amy had a vision to creatively raise money for Lottie Moon and incorporate their church and community....a 5K run/walk! The young women of the church have done much of the planning and coordinating for this event! When I spoke with Marsha (my dear friend) about this, these were her words:

 "NO profits are going to our church...we have raised enough sponsorship to cover the costs of the timing and goods. The registration fee is to cover the t-shirt and the rest will go to missions. We are really excited about it! We keep praying that He will be glorified through this race!"
