On Friday, Lauren Callaway took her first steps! 6 to be exact all on her own! We were so excited! She has been the baby that has taken the longest and we were beginning to wonder. After talking to several people, I found out that 14 1/2 months is not too late to walk! So Saturday night, after bathtime and pizza for dinner, Lauren was rarin' to go on this independent standing and taking steps thing! All of the sudden, she just started standing up on her own! I am so glad that Kendall had the camera and caught these moments of her life!
Love that Kendall captured her facial expression in this picture! This was her face each time that she stood up!
I wonder if baby's quads are sore the next day like mine are after working out?! She did quite a few squats to perfect this stance!
Then she took steps to me on her own after standing up! Needless to say, we were HAPPY parents!
She was filled with laughter and smiles, Easton also made sure to congratulate her by clapping for her and saying "yay whayen!" everytime she stood up.

shoot... 14 1/2 months is good! quinn didn't crawl until 13 months old and he didn't walk until 16 1/2 months!! i thought we were going to have to carry him into kindergarten!!
Oh, the first steps! And now you can't hold her down, can you?!! What a blessing from God that Kendall was there with the camera!
