Meze Village

God has really placed His mighty hand of protection on this unique village in Mozambique. Unique in the fact that there are no churches of any denominations, no witch doctors, and no Nau dancers (tribal dancers with witchcraft backgrounds). About a month ago, Kendall stopped at Meze as he traveled to Zambue for the associational meeting. He found a couple of men eager to hear the Gospel and learn more about Jesus Christ. Today was the second week that Kendall has preached in Meze and in two weeks 17 people have prayed to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior. Praise the Lord! The awesome thing is that the headman (or small chief) prayed to receive Christ. Pray that the believers that are meeting each week would continue to grow and that during their time of teaching and worship each week they could truly see how God desires for them to fellowship and meet together. They have no other church to "copy" or any example to follow, pray that this church is a strong church and can be a light to the darkness of evil that knocks on the door of their village from neigboring villages.

A few men walking home after the time of teaching.

This is the road going back to Nyimba. The ditch in the foreground is a creek bed, so you must drive to the left in order to continue on the road.
