Friends and 40/40

We love going to the farm in Petauke to visit the 40/40 Orientation participants! This time was especially fun because we were able to meet friends that we had corresponded with in the States and via blogs! The Suel Family are friends that we met through email and the internet and God blessed us today when we got to meet them face to face! I love how God orchestrates our lives to share sweet moments with His children that have the same heart for the African people!
Me and Jamie Suel
The Suel Family (minus Gavin) and The Helgren Family

Even more special when Zambian missionaries meet with friends from America!
(left to right) Amy Smith serving in Kaoma, Zambia, Marci Langton serving in Sinazongwe, Zambia, and Jamie Suel in East Africa!

Suzie Rodgers and Cynthia

Prior to today, Amy, Marci, and Jamie, all knew stories of God's work in the lives of Bertha and Zeria. How exciting and fun was it for all five women to meet!

A moment that I will cherish.

Cynthia wanted to go home with us, Lauren wanted her to come with us! So they were waving bye bye to their mamas!

Emma Suel and Lily became quick friends!

Thank you friend! Seeing my two mission minded friends united on the same continent sharing Jesus with the Africans really touched me. I got to see a bit of the kingdom, and I realized that I miss the two of you so much! I have tears in my eyes now as I write this. How blessed I am to have friends who would give their lives to share the gospel away from the comforts of America. You two ladies delight me!! Thank you Joy for sharing these. It makes me less home-sick for you both.
