I know that we ask for prayer many times. We know that there are many many people who pray for us on a daily basis. Sometimes, you may not know what to pray for, but in the simplest of prayers for protection and safety, God answers and protects us.
Today was a day in which your prayers of safety were heard loud and clear and the angels were with us as we traveled to visit the missionaries participating in 40/40 Safari Orientation.
We were approximately 2 kilometers from the farm, our destination, when all of the sudden a rock flew up and hit our windshield so hard that the glass shattered into our car. I was so scared and startled by the incident that I ducked and covered my head. Zeria was in the backseat sitting with the children and she received most of the brunt of the shards of glass. Praise the Lord that Kendall was able to keep the truck on the road and not swerve because there were boys herding cows on the left side of the road. Praise the Lord that the rock did not come through the windshield. Praise the Lord that Kendall and I were wearing sunglasses to protect our eyes. Praise the Lord that none of us were hurt. God is so good and protects us when we need it the most.
Your prayers everyday are heard by our Creator and treasured in our hearts!
*We will travel to Lusaka to have it repaired Friday because as we drove home the glass continued to shatter onto our dashboard. Pray for safe travel to Lusaka. It could be very dangerous if anything at all hits our windshield.*
