Microlight...(a.k.a. Flight Filled with Fear)

No, no, no...I did NOT sign up for this "adventure" while we were visiting Victoria Falls! I originally wanted Kendall to have something FUN to do so I signed HIM up for this! When it was 30 minutes prior to the bus leaving to take a microlight flight, Kendall told me that he really didn't want to do it. I begged my precious friend, Sue, to go, but she didn't really want to either. SO...we called to try to cancel..NOPE...we would have to pay for the trip in full. So here I went, up, up, and away in this little tricycle with a kite carrying it. Berney was my pilot and we zoomed our way up and over Victoria Falls. The beginning of the flight was a bit unnerving, but I gradually began to breathe deeply and enjoy God's creation from a very unique perspective.
The mighty Zambezi River and Victoria Falls. To the left of the picture is Zimbabwe. Zambia and Zimbabwe share the Falls.
Berney wanted me to wave at the camera, but I could barely turn my head because the winds were so stong that day! It was sunset and beautiful!
Flying barefooted over the Falls...priceless!
Look at the elephants on the right side of the picture...can you see the mama and baby?
