Sunday we traveled approximately 30 kilometers (18 miles) to Kaoko Baptist Church. The churches of Zone 2 had gathered there for a weekend meeting of fellowship and teaching. As we began the journey, I was so happy to be headed into the bush for church again. I felt so at home, I was complete. The kids were so excited and they sat with their church bags anxious for our arrival. I held the camera, my coffee, and my Bible in my lap. The road was very rocky and it took about 40 minutes to get there, but once we did, the smiles and sounds of voices singing to God was the icing on the cake. The trip was worth it, there were 221 people in attendance for the meeting and 30 people prayed to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior! Praise the Lord! After the church service, they prepared nshima and chicken for us and it was so good! Something about eating out in the village just warms my heart. We arrived home after 2 p.m. and I turned to Martin and said, "gives a whole new meaning to the saying, 'going to church' doesn't it?" He laughed and smiled and said, "sure does!" He was loved the simplicity and the freedom that the Zambians have in worship. It is something that we cherish as well.

| The road to Kaoko may seem dangerous to some, but is home for us. |
| Can you see the road and the village that we passed through on our way? |
| On our way, we passed another Baptist Church, Chansanje. |
| The road was an adventure! Gotta love bush church! |
| The choirs sang beautifully! |
| Kendall and Martin sat in the place of honor alongside the leaders of Zone 2. |
| Martin shared a devotion during the service about living a pure life for God. He did so well! |

| I love hearing Kendall preach. He is so passionate about God's Word. His sermon was on jealousy and how we need to keep away from it because it is of Satan. Praise the Lord that his language is still very good and better yet, I am able to understand all that he is saying! |

God is big and God is awesome and it is amazing to be able to see believers far away from us be close to us spiritually as we worship our God and savior.
In addition, I expect Martin to be able to prepare a great meal of nshima when he returns.
Love, grace and peace,
Brad & Angela
