Well about two blogs ago you will remember the story of the guy in Mozambique that was practicing witchcraft and threatening our churches. Well an update on the situation is... it really isn't the man himself that is threatening the church, but his wife. We had originally thought the church had completely died, but I saw one of the members of Meze church when he was in Nyimba and he said that 10-12 people are still meeting every Sunday faithfully. I have no reason to doubt it because he inquired about when I was going to visit. So there is still good news about Meze, I pray we will find these few members who are still meeting and are able to encourage them through this time of trial.
I thought now I would write to you about some good news. I have been meeting with the leaders who have come to my house, and have been asking about the work that was done the first term and what has been going on in Nyimba and Mozambique. It seems most of the church plants in Zambia and Mozambique last term have actually increased in attendance since we have been gone. Praise the Lord!!! Please continue praying for the Young churches that are growing up among the Nsenga people. The seeds of the Gospel have been planted and God is the one who makes them grow 1 Cor. 3:6.
