2 Years Ago Today We Stepped Foot In Zambia

We cannot believe that two years has come and gone ALREADY! Kendall and I are amazed at how unbelieveable our time has been in Zambia. On April 21, 2007 at 6 a.m. our flight from London arrived in Zambia. We will never forget the intense feeling of joy that we had when we arrived in Lusaka. To this day, our love and passion for Zambia has not ceased, it has only grown stronger. We have learned so many things in these past 24 months that the list is too long to write. Many of you have followed our blog since the day we set foot in Zambia and know the many things that God has taught us and continues to teach us each day! We are so honored and blessed to have been called by God to live among and serve the Nsenga people! We pray God allows us to stay in Zambia many many more years!

Our first family picture in Zambia at Lake Kariba in 2007.

Can you see a difference in Zeria now?

And these days, it's Lauren's turn for a ride on Mommy's back!

Easton was 7 months old when we moved to Zambia in 2007.

Today, Easton is 2 years old!

Lauren Callaway has joined our family as well!

Bath time at Bush Camp at 40/40! We made amazing memories during that month! God blessed us with great friends and many learning experiences.

Our first time to bush church. I cried the whole time because I was so happy to finally be where God had called us!

This post brings me such encouragement to me. A friend of mine that also has a heart for Zambia wants to start having children but was uncertain of having them in Africa or being pregnant while there. I will share your story, the little that I know, in hopes of eliminating all fear she may have. Praise God for your obediance!! Thanks for blogging so often!!

I so enjoyed all the firsts and your look back on your 2 years. Can't wait to do the same in a little over 2 years for us.

Well on your way to three years now and it seems very apparent to me from your 2010 posts that God has firmly planted Zambia in the hearts of your whole family. I pray fervently that He will keep working in you AS you are willing and through you BECAUSE you are willing.
Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.
Psalm 37:3-5
