Last Sunday, we went to visit our neighbor, Chilufiya. At the end of our visit, she invited us to come to her house today for lunch. Lauren ran inside the house after talking with Chilufiya and got a special kitty sticker and put it on her calendar on the day July 8th so that she could see when her special lunch with Chilufiya would be! She looked at her calendar everyday so that she knew when it was coming! On our way home from church today, she was so excited to eat chicken and nshima with Chilufiya! At 1:10pm there was a knock at the gate and it was Chilufiya! We went over to her house. When we went into her kitchen the kids were raving about how nice her house was and how big it was! All of the kids had all kinds of questions for Chilufiya like, "what is your favorite color?", "what is your favorite food?", "what time do you wake up in the morning?", "what is your job?". I think Chilufiya enjoyed our visit and laughed a lot! We are so blessed by her friendship and thankful that God blessed us with precious neighbors who love us so much!
