A Day In the Life of Our Sweet Daddy

At 7:00 a.m. Kendall and I decided that it would be fun for the whole family to accompany him to teach at Mtikila Baptist Church. Mtikila is 2 hours (125km) away from our home. In his last visit to this village, the people were asking about "Amai Kendall (Mrs. Kendall) and the children". Today was a cool, drizzly day, and a good day to travel to the village as a family! I packed up a lunch and we headed to Mtikila. I took pictures along the way because I wanted everyone to see the roads that Kendall travels every other week to teach the Bible and I wanted you to see how gorgeous Zambia is during this time of year! Enjoy!

Continue to pray for Kendall as he travels. It is a very tiring job to travel on such bad roads for long distances, teach in a second language, and come home to 3 children and a wife that want his attention! Pray that we all can continue to be encouraged by the Word of God and that God will continue to move in the churches in and around Nyimba. Pray also for Kendall's safety and wisdom as he drives.
The roads are washing away with the rains and it makes travel difficult this time of year. It will keep Kendall from traveling to some of the churches because the roads are treacherous. These ditches in the road were not there 2 weeks ago.

Lauren LOVES bad roads! She slept and played the whole way!

I didn't get a picture of the lake that Kendall is looking at up the road. I was too busy praying that we wouldn't get stuck! God is good and thank you Lottie Moon for a wonderful 4x4 Land Cruiser that makes this crossing a piece of cake!
