I really enjoy cooking, especially when I have the whole day to do it. I have decided from now on, I am going to try and prepare the majority of our Christmas meal on Christmas Eve, so I am not in the kitchen all day on Christmas. This morning, I began cooking at 7 a.m. and by 9 a.m. I had 3 little chefs helping me in the kitchen! Lily and Easton helped as I basted the turkey, they snapped green beans, reorganized my Tupperware, and washed all the dishes! I had a fun day with my kids today. What a blessing to have time at home with the family!
I wore my apron today, then of course the kids wanted one. I had one for Lily, but made Easton his own with one of my white shirts! They loved being little chefs today!
They love to snap green beans!
They had a picnic consisting of my tennis shoe, which was the "2 cups of sugar" cake and sweet tea! Lauren fled the scene because she didn't want to have to clean up!
(And yes, those are marker streaks on my refrigerator, left by Easton, thankfully he chose an eraseable marker!)
