Did You Hear About Pluto??

As Lily and I sat and read our science lesson on Monday, to my surprise, Pluto is no longer considered a planet! In 2006, the definition of planet was rewritten and Pluto is no longer a planet! Kendall and I were shocked! That same night we were watching, Cake Boss, and Buddy was making a space cake. He was shocked to find out that Pluto isn't a planet anymore! The posters that I bought are out of date because they include Pluto (which makes me happy!), but Lily's Solar System Kit that she made for her Art/Science project doesn't include Pluto! Sad day! No matter what, Pluto will always be a planet to me!!

Look closely, Neptune is the last planet!!

Lily LOVES to paint! Making this solar system took a long time but she enjoyed every minute of it! The coolest thing is that it had glow in the dark paint so it glows! As you can see, everybody wanted to participate, so all of us painted a planet!

Today, we hung our solar system in the classroom! What fun!
