London to Texas

I hate posting out of order, but here I go! Our trip from Lusaka to Dallas was truly bathed and prayer and the Lord heard our pleas for safe travel, healthy kids, calm hearts, and a happy family! The trip was amazing and it wasn't as bad as we had anticipated! Thank you all for your prayers!

We were blessed that Marc and Charity Verlander came to see us at the airport! We shared a nice meal with TAP water to drink! It was so fast but an awesome time of fellowship!

We were appointed with the Verlander's 4 years ago in Missouri and this is the first time we have seen them since!

Yes, this picture is sideways but it wouldn't flip and I couldn't not post it! Kendall did and awesome "arm reach" shot to get a picture of the 4 of us!

Next stop...Dallas!

Gramsie and Paw Paw had a Texas flag and Coon skin hats waiting for the kiddos!

This one is sideways too...sorry, the girls had their first American haircut! They went with Gramsie and Aunt Theresa and had a blast! Lauren kept popping the cape with her hand because she didn't like the hair on the cape!

Then Lauren and Easton had their FIRST Chick-Fil-A...Lauren calls it "Chick-A-FLAY"! It was awesome!

And for anyone who knows me even a tad bit KNOWS how much I LOVE Chick-Fil-A!!! I am telling you that this sandwich was so much better than I had remembered!
