MOZAMBIQUE!!

We are so excited about this post because we are finally able to see the places in Mozambique where God has called us to reach an unreached people group, the Nsenga of Mozambique. On Monday, Dwayne Mitchell and Kendall drove 3 hours on a terrible road to reach Mozambique. God gave them safe travel and no difficulties with government officials, praise the Lord! Kendall has already found a village that has been unreceptive to the Gospel and he wants to begin working there to lead someone to Christ. Another thing that he found was that most of the common people can speak Chichewa fairly well, but most government officials do not know Chichewa but speak Portugese very well. Pray for Kendall as he studies a small amount of Portugese in order to know what is being said as he comes in contact with government officials and others that may not know Chichewa very well.

This is the road that Kendall will travel for 3 hours from Zambia to Mozambique. The road is terrible because it is not maintained. Right now, Kendall's goal is to travel to Mozambique to minister 2 times a week. The days will be long and tiring, pray for his stamina and wisdom as he travels.
The governor's house. Notice (in the bottom left corner) the two-lane road running from the main road to his house. All of the official houses are built on a small hill with a road like this near the areas where Kendall will be working.

YAY! This is one of the 6 churches that are in Mozambique. These are the faces of the Nsenga of Mozambique, still an unreached people group.
