One of the new areas of work is in Yosefe Village. The missionary before us planted a church in this village and it was called Chitepo. The leader of the church fell ill and the congregation failed to continue to meet in his absence. Two weeks ago, we found out that the people of Yosefe wanted to begin studying God's Word again. It has been so neat to see how the Lord is working there and since Kendall has been teaching there again, seven people have come to know the Lord! Praise the Lord for these new believers! Saturday, Kendall taught at Chitepo and he told the people that we would be coming on Sunday for church. We met under a mango tree in the headman's yard. The wind was blowing and it was incredibly cold! Kendall taught from 2 Kings 5 about Naaman washing in the Jordan River. As soon as he was referring to other passages in Scripture referring to begin washed by the blood of the Lamb, it began to rain! Kendall said, "today you can be washed by the Lamb and by the rain!" The people laughed. The crazy thing about it raining is that it is the dry season. It was such a sweet time of worship. There were about 15 of us there and it was church planting at its finest, no big showy choir, just some simple worship songs, and the teaching of God's Word. Pray for the Tembo family, all of which attended church that they would grow in their faith. Pray that other people in Yosefe would come to know the Lord. Pray for Kendall as he continues to teach and grow the believers there through God's Word.
| Upon our arrival at Yosefe, the headman came out and greeted Kendall and Lily and was excited that we had come for church. |

| The children are always so fascinated by our kiddos. Doesn't matter what they are doing they are entertained just by watching. This was before church started, I loved it. |
