Education at Home

I have really settled in and begun to really enjoy homeschooling. I finally gave up my selfish desires and have fully devoted time to preparation and thinking about the goals we want to accomplish in school. The Lord had to do some things in my heart, but I can finally say that I feel like the kids are learning and growing! It is the greatest feeling to spend so much time teaching and investing in the precious blessings that the Lord has given us in Lily, Easton, and Lauren. No the days are not always easy, nor are they always exciting, but one thing is for sure, I wouldn't trade these days!
Easton read Curious George and made him on top of the traffic light!

On the days that Kendall is home, he teaches Lauren. I am so blessed to have a husband who not only wants to help teach but loves teaching! They laugh a lot!

This week, he read Corduroy with a little bit of help! His favorite part of the book was when Corduroy thought he was climbing a mountain but it was just an escalator!

Lily is reading her first chapter book, The Milly-Molly-Mandy Storybook. She loves seeing what adventures MMM had that day! She made paper dolls to play with when she isn't reading!
