God's Protection Is Evident

How many times have you looked back on an event and realized how much God protected you?

Our friends, Kevin and Savannah, traveled from their home on Sunday to spend the night with us in order to watch the Super Bowl on Monday morning. After the game was over, they left our home on their way to the capital city of Lusaka. The road that we travel to Lusaka is called the Great East Road. This road is incredibly dangerous. We cannot even remember all of the horrific accidents that we have seen since living in the east for almost 5 years. The game was to end at noon but it ran late and Kevin and Savannah were late leaving. Almost an hour after they left I received a text from Savannah that they had come upon a terrible accident and didn't know if they could pass. We began to pray hard that they would be safe. If they had left at noon they could have been in this accident, we may never know. But one thing that is for certain, is that in ALL things God has a plan and He knows best and praise the Lord he protected the Pestke family today!
"I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted."  Job 42:3
They were able to pass under the truck that was in the air, you can see the truck passing under in the picture above. God was so good! Praise Him!
