It was a great time of teaching for Kendall and Mr. Mbewe who is a great friend and a graduate of the Baptist Theological Seminary in Lusaka. The students really were unsure of what Bible School was all about and by the second day they were struggling. Kendall came home a bit discouraged because he felt like they were not understanding anything. Mr. Mbewe was faithful to encourage not only the students but Kendall. They truly realized that Bible School is not your average Bible study but an all-you-can-eat meat buffet. Many times they are not challenged to "eat" the "meat" of God's Word and when you go from milk to meat in one day it can be difficult.
We are so excited about their excitement to return for the third term the second week in October. Please pray that these students will be able to return to the third term. Pray for Kendall as he begins preparations for the teaching that he will be doing. Pray for Mr. Mbewe as well as he prepares his teachings and travels to Nyimba. Pray that the leaders of Nyimba will learn many things and that they will take the knowledge they have gained and put it into action resulting in wisdom.

These two women were awesome servants and cooked three meals a day for a week for the teachers and students at Bible School.
This was the kitchen that they prepared all of the meals!
