This update is long overdue and I am so sorry for the delay! We have internet at our home in Nyimba now so the blog will resume in the very near future!
We thank you for your prayers during our time of transition to Nyimba! God was so faithful and answered all of our prayers! Here is a list of the praises!
1) We were packed and moved in one trip to Nyimba from Chipata.
2) The movers were on time to load the truck and leave to Nyimba!
3) Everything arrived in one or two pieces! HA!
4) We have electricity in Nyimba more than we did in Chipata.
5) These praises are just HUGE blessings to me as a mother and wife: I have a washer and dryer IN the house that can wash clothes in cold and hot water, the kitchen sink has hot water, and we have a shower in our bathroom! (These things are super luxury for Kendall and I because this is truly our first "home" away from Southwestern.
6) The kids have transitioned well.
7) The pastors of Nyimba and the people have been very welcoming.
8) God has protected us with good health and protection from intruders.
9) God has blessed us with good Christian men as guards.
10) We are very happy and peaceful about life in Nyimba!
Our requests:
1) Joy and Lauren fly to Johannesburg for Lauren's doctor appointment and check up on Tuesday.
2) Betsy, Joy's mom, leaves Atlanta on Tuesday to fly to Johannesburg to come and visit our family! Please pray for the travel to be smooth and that God would give her peace and good health as she flies for 18 hours straight.
3) Pray that our time together would be sweet and a great time of encouragement and fun memories!

Thank you all for your love and prayers! God is answering many prayers and the Nsenga people will soon hear the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for them.
