Our home in Nyimba, Zambia....
The day that we have been waiting for has finally arrived!!! Our future home in Nyimba. Kendall and Kevin went on Monday to see the Nyimba house where we will permanently live and they also visited our house in Chipata where we will live for language school. The camera ran out of juice for the house in Chipata and it was quite dark when they got there, but you all will see pictures of it very soon. The one thing about our house in Chipata is that we share our backyard wall with the largest mosque in Zambia. Missionaries are welcome there but no missionaries have been successful there in sharing the Gospel. WOW...what a prayer request!! Anyway, Kendall was unable to get into the Nyimba house because they had the wrong keys so there are no pictures of the inside, so the exterior pictures will have to do for now!! I am excited! The Morreau's are a missionary couple here and they are going to be fixing up this house to make it liveable and to look nicer, so I am looking forward to the move in day!!!
This is our round roof where we can sit outside and eat meals and just hang out! The green canopies roll up to allow breeze.
HILLS in the VERY back left of the picture. These are our fruit trees!!! This is still our yard! HUGE, huh??
This is the tree and patio in the front yard that Dwayne built for Betty right before they left for Lusaka.

What a beautiful home!! My favorite part is the brick around the tree in the back. I'm sure there will be a tricycle or two around that tree someday. It's so great to see where you are and hear how God is continuing to use you. You touch all those that you come into contact with and God's love is so powerful, lived through you. I love you Joy! I'll continue to pray for you and open doors for you to minister. You are a blessing to anyone you meet, always. xoxoxo Love, Shirley
How nice! And the fruit trees are a real bonus. I can't wait to see pictures of the kids climbing them picking fruit. And that backyard...what fun. What about that outdoor patio? You are really going to be able to minister there. That house is a real blessing for y'all. Our God is so good! Miss you Sis! Eli
Hey Joyster! Thank you for your fun comment! Yes, I have met Keith and Debra. They are super cool people. Also, I had NO IDEA that you went to college with Kari! Nuts! Smallll world. Also, I too miss the mail room. We had some fun chats in there! It was wonderful to hear from you. Love and miss you! Glad my blog makes people laugh. :)I've always been told my life should be sitcom.
Hey friends! The house looks great! I'm so excited for you guys! I know that Lily and Easton will love the beautiful yard and all the space! I hope that you are all well. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers! Love you all.
Hey Joy, Kendall, and Kids!
It is great to hear that you finally have a permanent place to call yours. That helps so much in the transition process to know that this is YOUR HOME and that it is the base of your ministry there! Continuing to remember your family and the times that we shared at the farm!
I love every single picture yall send out that helps me picture your world over there...I am so reverting to all of the images of the missionaries that we lived with that summer, and life for them in Western Africa. I LOVE that land with words not of my own...thats why I'm so intrigued and prayerfully attentive to yall's mission there, my freind. Love you...Keep up the great pics!
May the Lord's richest blessings, favor, and health rest on yall!

What a great home! I can see you hosting and entertaining so many people there. Lily and Easton will really love that huge, beautiful yard---I bet yours will be the house where all of the neighborhood kids want to hang out. We miss you very much and think of and pray for you often.
We love you, The Five Sixes

wow, that looks really nice. I can imagine you will have some nice evenings sitting outside under your canopy. Hopefully the fruit is good for eating and isn't sour. God has some great plans for you all there, and it is a blessing to have this outlet for you guys to share it with all of us.
