We cannot believe that our first born, Lily Elizabeth, is 8 years old! She had an exciting surprise birthday party on Friday night in Chipata with the sweet families and friends there! She thought that we were going to have a pizza party, little did she know it was a surprise party for her birthday as well! She was so surprised and it was topped off with a spend the night party with 4 friends that live in Chipata! She has had a long birthday weekend!!
Since Lily had a birthday party and cake on Friday, she had a pancake cake this year! She wanted pancakes for breakfast; macaroni and cheese for lunch; and hamburgers with ketchup for dinner!
She asked that we have her party and open presents this morning so she could have fun all day!
I love this picture! She was so excited about blowing out her candles that she didnt wait for us to stop singing. So Auntie Julie lit them again, we sang again and I was able to get a picture!
Her "Auntie" Julie made her an awesome Littlest Pet Shop Cake!
Lily with her sweet friends that live in Lusaka at her surprise birthday party! It was memorable because right as the party started the power went off! So this picture was taken in the dark! It was still so much fun!
