A Visit to Aggie Town

A long time ago in a small south Texas town, two boys became the best of friends. Their friendship saw them through high school, college, and now as husbands and daddies. Kendall and Mark have been best friends for a long time, so you can imagine how fun it was to have both of our families under the same roof for a week! We planned to stay only a few days, but we go snowed out of Comanche and then snowed in College Station. We had the best time playing games and just enjoying friends. Lily was so excited to meet Kendyl (she was named after Kendall, because he introduced Shana and Mark). They went to school together each day! Easton and Kale drove cars for many miles and played warrior battles numerous times. Shana and I just had a good time really getting to know one another and enjoying the joys that come with being a wife and a mother. One of the most precious times of the week was when Mark and Shana planned a surprise birthday party for Lauren. They went all out with the balloons, cake, presents, plates and napkins. Lauren had said that she wanted Hello Kitty, and that is what she got! It was fun to be with friends for a birthday party! Another awesome time was when their homegroup came for Bible Study and we had a great time of study and encouragement! God blessed us in many ways during our time with the Boyle family and He answered many many prayers!! Praise the Lord!
