What does the lion say???

OH BOY! We went to the Lion Park today as our farewell to Johannesburg. We had so much fun! Lily and Easton got to pet lion cubs and feed a giraffe up close and personal. I won't say anything else, but will let the pictures speak for themselves!

Kendall had just fed him...it looks as if the giraffe is smiling!
Very hard to get young children to look at a camera when a giraffe is near!
The trip home was very quiet!

Joy, these pics are great! I LOVE the giraffe pics with their long tongue! When we lived in COlumbus we went to a zoo like this but we didn't get to pet lion cubs. But I did have a giraffe lick me...ICK!!!
You guys look so happy and complete!! Love you!

What fun! Abigail has a new found fascination for giraffe's. She is gonna love it when she wakes up in the morning and sees this. We are having the girl's 4th birthday tomorrow. Can you believe it Joy? We miss y'all so much. I am so glad to see y'all all smiling and enjoying yourselves. You are truly blessed. Kiss them all for us! And we can't wait for you to get back to im. The girls want lily to webcam with them!

Love the pic of the kids in the car sleeping. I could not stop laughing, they must have been exhausted. My kids used to sleep like that in the car. We are glad you are back home in Chipata and we can't wait to see Lauren at the BIG meeting in a couple of weeks.

I'm not for certain, but I'm pretty sure that petting lion cubs belongs in the "Things you can't do at an American zoo" category. I'm glad your kids still have all their fingers.
