The rains are a blessing to us right now and they are very frequent! Today, Lily and Easton finally ventured out and overcame their fears of the rain and played in it. Easton is still a little hesitant so Daddy had to help with that! The rain on the tin roof and thunder is still a bit frightening for the little guy since overall Africa is a pretty quiet place! Thursday is the day that Lily and I leave for South Africa, your prayers for safe travel would be greatly appreciated! Kendall and Easton will be joining us on February 7. We will update the blog as soon as we know the arrival date of our new baby and then pictures will be soon to follow!

Joy, that is the most breathtaking sunset I have ever seen...I cannot imagine all of the beauty you witness daily in Africa.
I saw your Mama this morning at church and she told me you were leaving Thursday, too. I will say a special prayer for you and Lily for safe travels. Love you girl!
Praise the Lord for the rains! I know that it can be annoying, but you'll be missing it when the drought season comes. the kids look cute!!
